Easy Paper Pumpkin Craft

These fun 3D paper pumpkins are so fun to make and create! We love the pop of color and texture that they add to our Halloween decor.
This pumpkin craft would be fun to create at birthday parties, halloween events or in the classroom! I mean, how adorable is he?! I love that you could totally personalize this craft to your liking.
Have kids make a variety of eye, nose and mouth shapes to create different jack-o-lanterns!

Supplies:
- Black construction paper
- Orange construction paper
- Green construction paper
- Popsicle stick
- Scissors
- Glue gun and sticks*
*If making this with young children, double sided tape could be used instead of the hot glue gun.
How to make a 3D Paper Pumpkin!
Directions:
1. Fold a piece of orange construction paper into 1/2″ accordion folds.
2. Use scissors to cut strips of orange paper along the accordion lines.
3. Use the glue gun to aline and glue each piece together in the center.
4. Next, attach the ends of the strips of paper together in a circular fashion, using the glue.
5. Cut a circle from the orange paper and glue it to the top of the pumpkin shape.
6. Cut jack-o-lantern features from black paper and glue them to the front of the pumpkin.
7. Cut leave shapes from the green paper and trim 1″ from the end of the popsicle stick.
8. Glue these to the top of the pumpkin.
Seriously adorable and perfectly fun for Halloween! I think that these pumpkins would be fun to create in different colors too!
