Easy Reindeer Rock Craft
This easy reindeer rock craft is the perfect project for kids this holiday season! It would make a cute reindeer magnet or ornament. We’ve also made these mason jar reindeer, wooden reindeer ornaments and this alphabet block reindeer in the past.
First you need to start with some rocks, clearly! I really like these flat river rocks for painting from Amazon. It can sometimes be hard to find the perfect flat rock for craft projects and so these rocks make it easy! But if you want to go out rock hunting just be sure to wash the rocks that you find thoroughly before using them for your project.

Supplies needed:
- 2-3” oval rocks, cleaned
- Brown pipe cleaners (2)
- Red button (1)
- Brown construction paper
- Googly eyes (2)
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Hot glue sticks
- Mod Podge (optional)
How to make this easy reindeer rock craft:
- Gather the supplies that you will need. Cut two ear shapes approx. 1/2″ out of brown paper material. Paint the button red (if needed).
2. Glue the ears to each side of the rock. Twist the pipe cleaners into antler shapes. Tip: use a pencil or pen to twist the pipe cleaner around .
3. Glue the antlers to each side of the top of the rock.
4. Glue the red button to the front bottom edge of the rock. Now glue the eyes above the red button nose.
Ta-da!! Your cute rock reindeer is done! You could glue a strong magnet to the back of this craft making it something that could be attached to the fridge or filing cabinet.
