Tips and Tricks:

  • Slow cooking is a great go-to method when it comes to cooking ribs. The low heat and longer cook time helps break down the connective tissue in the meat, leaving you with tender, juicy ribs that fall off the bone.
  • Line the bottom of your slow cooker with parchment paper or foil to make cleanup a breeze.
  • Once the ribs are fully cooked, finish them off in the oven. Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Lay the racks of ribs out on the baking sheet and brush with more marinade or BBQ sauce. Bake them at 350 for 30 mins. You could also do this on the grill.
  • When cooking meat, always check the internal temperature to ensure it is fully cooked. The best and easiest way to do this is with a meat thermometer, inserted into the thickest part of the meat.
  • Store any leftover ribs in an airtight container in the fridge.
