Ingredients
Start with a few simple pantry staples that can easily be found at the grocery store.
- Unsalted butter, room temperature – softened butter makes the cookies rich and chewy, perfect for blending with the sugar.
- Granulated white sugar – sweetens the dough and helps create that perfect cookie texture.
- Large egg – the binder that holds everything together and gives the cookies structure.
- Pure vanilla extract – adds a subtle, warm flavor that enhances the sweetness.
- All-purpose flour – the base that gives your cookies a soft and tender texture.
- Box instant vanilla pudding mix – keeps the cookies super soft and adds an extra vanilla flavor.
- Green Jello mix – adds a fun, bright green color and a hint of fruity flavor, perfect for Grinch-themed treats.
- Baking soda – helps the cookies rise and gives them a nice, soft texture.

Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and line your cookie sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream softened butter and sugar together.
3. Add vanilla and egg.
4. Use a hand mixer and mix until well combined.
5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix until a soft dough forms. Add green food coloring to reach a bright green color.
9. Use a cookie scoop to drop cookie dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
10. Press a red candy heart into each of the dough balls.
11. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes in the preheated oven, until the edges just start to turn golden brown.
12. Place the cookies on a wire rack to cool before storing them in an airtight container.
