- White paint
- Paintbrush
- Pencil
- Bakers twine
Directions:
- Paint the wood scraps red. Allow to dry completely and sand the edges (optional).
2. Sketch Christmas tree images onto the wood with a pencil.
3. Paint the trees white. Pro tip: use a fine tip paint brush for the best results!
4. Add embellishments and bakers twine to the top of each ornament.
We used hemp, bakers twine, yarn and various bits and bobs found in the craft room. You can drill a hole to tie a bakers twine loop to the ornament or use a hot glue gun to glue it to the back.
Didn’t these scrap wood ornaments turn out soooo cute?! My friends on Instagram could not believe how easy they were to make. They would look darling hanging from the Christmas tree or attached to gift.
