Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground mild Italian sausage cooked & drained
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes drained and chopped
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cup spinach chopped
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  • 1. Add first six ingredients to the crockpot.

    2. Cook on low for four to six hours.

    3. Half an hour before serving add spinach and cream.

    4. Top with Parmesan before serving.
