Camp Cooker French Toast

This yummy camp cooker french toast recipe is such a fun way to make french toast for the family over the campfire!

Ingredients

  • French bread sliced
  • 1 Tbsp milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Syrup
  • Butter

Instructions

  • 1. Start by greasing the inside of the iron if needed.
  • 2. Mix the egg, milk, cinnamon and vanilla in a medium bowl.
  • 3. Dip each side of the bread in the egg mixture and place inside the camp cooker.
    4. Cook over the coals of a campfire for about 5 minutes per side.
    5. Open the iron and check for doneness.  When cooked, serve with butter and syrup.
