Valentine's Day Parfait Recipe

This easy Valentine's Day parfait recipe makes the perfect sweet treat for parties or events. Festive, fun food is one of my favorite things to create for any holiday!

Ingredients

  • 6 oz 170g instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup sliced frozen strawberries defrosted
  • 2 cups whipped cream topping
  • 1/4 cup fresh strawberries cored, halved and cut into hearts
  • 2 Tbsp valentine sprinkles

Instructions

  • 1. In a large mixing bowl combine milk and chocolate pudding mix.
  • 2. Mix on low for about two minutes until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • 3. Cover in plastic wrap and place in the fridge to set for at least 30 minutes.
  • 4. Place the frozen strawberries is a small bowl and into the microwave to defrost.
  • 5. Cut the fresh strawberries in heart shapes.
  • 6. Once the pudding is set, begin layering ingredients into champagne flutes or jars. Begin with about 2 tablespoons of chocolate pudding.
  • 7. Add a tablespoon of strawberry slices.
  • 8. Top the whipped cream.
  • 9. Repeat the layer of pudding to fill the cup.
  • 10. Top with whipped cream and fresh strawberry hearts.

Notes

Use a small tea spoon to place pudding into the bottom of the glass so that it doesn't get all over the sides of the flute.
No champagne flute? No problem! Simply switch up the glass or container in which it is served for an entirely no look.
