Ingredients

  • 3 lobster tails about 5 oz each
  • 3 pieces of thick cut bacon
  • 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • 1. Remove the lobster shell from the meat. Use a pair of kitchen shears to cut a line down the top of the shell.
  • 2. Gently pry the lobster meat from the shell with a sharp knife.
  • 3. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  • 4. In a small bowl mix pepper, garlic and brown sugar.
  • 5. Coat the lobster tail meat in the brown sugar rub.
  • 6. Wrap each tail in a strip of bacon. Fasten with a toothpick if needed.
  • 7. Place lobster tails in the baking dish and sprinkle with remaining rub.
  • 8. Bake lobster tails for 12-15 mins or until the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees.
  • 9. Broil on low for 1-2 minutes to crisp up the bacon.
