We love to pair lobster tails with pretty much anything grilled. These are amazing with filet mignon steak, venison steak and even grilled baby back ribs – the ultimate surf and turf in my opinion!

Supplies:

Fresh Lobster Tails

Baked Lobster Tails Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 3 lobster tails, about 5 oz each
  • 3 pieces of thick cut bacon
  • 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Directions:

1. Remove the lobster shell from the meat. Use a pair of kitchen shears to cut a line down the top of the shell.

2. Gently pry the lobster meat from the shell with a sharp knife.

3. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

4. In a small bowl mix pepper, garlic and brown sugar.

5. Coat the lobster tail meat in the brown sugar rub.

6. Wrap each tail in a strip of bacon. Fasten with a toothpick if needed.

7. Place lobster tails in the baking dish and sprinkle with remaining rub.

8. Bake lobster tails for 12-15 mins or until the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees.

9. Broil on low for 1-2 minutes to crisp up the bacon.

10. Serve with a little bit of garlic butter and a squeeze of lemon juice.
