Peanut Butter Brownies
Prep time: 5-10 minutes
Cooking time: 18-20 minutes
Total time: 23-30 minutes
Servings: 12

Ingredients
- Peanut butter brownie mix – A time saver that delivers rich chocolate flavor with a peanut butter twist.
- Peanut butter – I like to use creamy peanut butter, such as Skippy or Jif, but you could use other nut butters too.
- Egg (using large eggs is standard in most recipes) – Binds everything together for that fudgy texture.
- Water – Keeps the brownies moist and gooey.
- Vegetable oil – Adds softness and richness for chewy brownies.
Equipment
- 8×8 inch square tin – Just the right size for a small batch of delicious treats. Metal pans are great for even cooking.
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine brownie mix with water, egg, and oil. Use a whisk or spatula to stir until smooth. An electric mixer could also be used.

Tip: Add a splash of vanilla extract for extra flavor.
2. Line the baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper and spread the brownie mixture out evenly. Drizzle peanut butter over the mixture.

Tip: You can add as little or as much peanut butter as you like. I sometimes add a bit extra for even creamier brownies.
3. Preheat oven to 320 F and bake for 15-18 minutes or until just set.
4. Leave the brownies to cool on a cooling rack, then cut into squares. Enjoy!

Tips and Tricks:
- Mix your ingredients just until everything is combined to keep your brownies nice and tender.

- For a marbled effect, swirl the peanut butter into the brownie batter with a knife instead of just drizzling it.
- Try adding peanut butter chips or chocolate chips to the batter for an even more decadent treat. You could also sprinkle the top with a bit of flaky sea salt.
- Keep an eye on the baking time; the brownies should be set, but a toothpick should come out with a few moist crumbs for that perfect fudgy center.

- Store any leftovers at room temperature in an airtight container to keep them moist and delicious for days! If you want to enjoy them warm, just pop one in the microwave for a few seconds first.

These brownies are so good, I highly recommend you make sure you have someone to share them with! It is way too easy to eat them all.
