Ingredients

  • 1 pkg spice cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup oil
  • ¾ cup of apple cider
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer with paddle attachment, combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients. Combine cake mix with eggs and oil.
  • Add apple juice and mix until a cake like batter forms.
  • Scoop the donut batter into a large freezer bag or piping bag.
  • Spray doughnut pans with non-stick spray.
  • Pipe the batter into each cavity of the donut pan.
  • Bake for 12 minutes or until just golden brown.
  • Move to a cooling rack.
  • Pour melted butter on a saucer.
  • Mix cinnamon and sugar on another saucer.
  • Dip the top of each donut in melted butter and then coat it in the cinnamon sugar.
