Camping Skillet Pizza Recipe

This camping skillet pizza recipe is super easy to make and grill over the campfire.  It's a one of those camping recipes that the whole family loves - perfect for adding to your meal planning this summer!

Ingredients

  • non stick spray
  • shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • pizza sauce
  • sliced pepperoni
  • Pillsbury pizza dough

Instructions

  • Coat the skillet with non stick spray (or olive oil). Open the pizza dough and press into the skillet. Spread pizza sauce on top of the pizza dough.
  • Top with shredded Mozzarella cheese.
  • Layer with pepperoni slices and more cheese.
  • Cook over an open campfire or grill for 20 minutes. Tip: cover with foil to help brown the top and cook on low heat to prevent the bottom of the pizza from burning.
