Combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a large mixing bowl.
Add vanilla and mix until well combined.
Spoon the cream cheese mixture into a serving bowl.
Core and cut 5-6 apples into wedges and place them in a large bowl.
Cover the apples with water mixed with few drops of lemon juice (to prevent browning), wrap the bowl in plastic wrap and store in the fridge until ready to use.
Heat the caramel sauce in a small microwave safe bowl for 15 seconds until it reaches a pourable consistency.
Spread the caramel over the cream cheese mixture.
Sprinkle toffee bits over the caramel.
Drain and rinse the apple slices before placing them on a platter around the serving dish.

You may use Skor bits, Heath bits or simply chopped up toffee or hard caramels for topping.
