1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees f.
2. Line the bottom of a square 8 inch x 8 inch non stick baking dish with parchment paper.
3. In a large bowl with a hand mixer or stand mixer with paddle attachment; combine brownie mix, water, oil and egg. Mix until a smooth brownie batter is formed.
4. Remove the cookie dough from the package and roll 12 teaspoon sized balls.
5. Roughly chop the Oreos into quarters.
6. Transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly around the square baking pan.
7. Press the chocolate chip cookie dough balls and Oreo pieces into the top of the brownie batter.
8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Tip: slightly under baked the brownie bars to get the softest, chewy texture.
9. Move to a wire rack to completely cool.
10. Cut into 2 inch individual bars for serving.
