Ingredients

  • 1 box Betty Crocker Chocolate Chunk Brownie Mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 package Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  • 6 Oreo Chocolate Sandwich Cookies chopped

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees f.
  • 2. Line the bottom of a square 8 inch x 8 inch non stick baking dish with parchment paper.
  • 3. In a large bowl with a hand mixer or stand mixer with paddle attachment; combine brownie mix, water, oil and egg. Mix until a smooth brownie batter is formed.
  • 4. Remove the cookie dough from the package and roll 12 teaspoon sized balls.
  • 5. Roughly chop the Oreos into quarters.
  • 6. Transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly around the square baking pan.
  • 7. Press the chocolate chip cookie dough balls and Oreo pieces into the top of the brownie batter.
  • 8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Tip: slightly under baked the brownie bars to get the softest, chewy texture.
  • 9. Move to a wire rack to completely cool.
  • 10. Cut into 2 inch individual bars for serving.
