12
oz
chocolate candy melts
½
cup
creamy peanut butter
7.5
oz
chow mein noodles - about 6 cups
¼
cup
candy eyes
Instructions
Add the candy melts to the crockpot and set it on low for 1 hour. Halfway through, toss in the creamy peanut butter.
Once the candy melts, give it another stir with a wooden spoon to make sure everything’s well blended.
Stir in the chow mein noodles, making sure they’re fully coated in the candy mixture.
Use a cookie scoop to drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
Top with candy eyes for that spooky Halloween touch!
Pop the haystacks in the fridge for about an hour to set, and they’re ready to go!
Notes
Make sure your peanut butter is at room temperature to help it mix smoothly with the candy melts.
Add Halloween sprinkles.
If you’re not feeling the Halloween theme, try using white almond bark to make white chocolate haystacks for a wintery twist.
Love butterscotch? Make butterscotch haystacks by swapping the candy melts with butterscotch chips for a tasty change.
For extra texture, mix in some pretzels or nuts with your chow mein noodles.
These
haystacks
are a hit during Christmastime too! Just switch up the colors and toppings.
