Garlic Butter Pan Grilled Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients

  • 16-20 peeled & deveined jumbo shrimp fresh
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp salted butter
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Prepare the fresh shrimp, devein shrimp and peel if needed, pat dry with paper towel.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet on the stove top over medium high heat.
  • Add raw shrimp to the pan in a single layer.
  • Cook shrimp until just turning pink, about 5 minutes.  Remove shrimp and set aside.
  • Reduce heat to medium. Melt the butter and add garlic.
  • Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add parsley and seasoning.  Mix and add lemon juice.
  • Add shrimp back to the skillet.
  • Saute for an additional 1-2 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Top with fresh squeezed lemon and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Shrimp is fully cooked when firm and opaque.
