My kids love what they like to call "Oreo Dirt Pie" and I love how incredibly easy it is to make! This is our delicious family take on a traditional oreo mud pie, only better.
Prepare the ingredients. Unwrap the Oreo cookie crust and set the whipped topping out on the counter to defrost.
In a large bowl prepare the instant pudding mix. Use a hand mixer to whisk together with two cups of cold milk and place in the fridge to set for at least 5 minutes.
When the pudding sets, fold in half of the whipped topping into the chocolate pudding.
Spread the pudding mixture over the pie crust.
Cover the pudding layer in the remaining cool whip.
Spread the whipped topping over the top of the pie.
Place the cookies into a large freezer bag and crush them up using a rolling pin or the end of a wooden spoon. You could also use a food processor to create oreo crumbs.
Sprinkle the oreo cookie crumbs over top of the pie.
