Open and unroll the crescent dough.
Press or roll the precut seams of the dough together to form a solid sheet of dough.
Spread the pumpkin butter out over the dough in an even layer.
Cut the dough into 1/2” strips using a pizza cutter.
Twist each strip and place onto a cookie sheet that has been lined with parchment.
Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake for 10-12 mins, or until golden brown, at 350 degrees F.
In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar and just enough milk to create a glaze.
Remove pie twists from the oven and drizzle with icing.
