DIY Painted Boho Ornament
This DIY painted boho ornament is absolutely gorgeous – with this easy step by step tutorial you can make this classic, boho inspired ornament!

Get the supplies:
Tip: a fine tip paint pen works best however you can also use a thin paintbrush and acrylic paint.
Directions:
- Sketch a boho design onto the ornament ball using the pencil.
2. Fill in sections of the design with black paint.
The trick to using paint pens is that you have to depress the tip for the paint to flow. It’s a good idea to do this on a scrap piece of paper or small bowl otherwise the excess paint may spill onto your project.
3. Allow the black paint to dry and fill in sections of the design with white paint.
4. Cut two lengths of leather cord to glue around the ball perpendicular to each other.
5. Cut eight more 1″ lengths of leather to add as accents around the ball.
The sky is the limit when it comes to creating boho designs, I can’t wait to pick up more of these paper mache balls to decorate!
You could also use clear or plastic ornaments to create this project but I do love the neutral texture of this one. This pretty project would make lovely gift tags or an addition to holiday home decor.
