How to make these DIY wood plank tree signs:

Supplies you’ll need:
- Wooden planks cut to 18″ lengths
- Brown paint or stain
- White paint
- Paintbrush
- Pencil
- Embellishments
Directions:
- Draw tree images onto the wood with a pencil.
2. Paint or stain the wood brown.
3. Paint the trees white.
4. Add embellishments to the top of each wood plank.
We used hemp, bakers twine, yarn and various bits and bobs found in the craft room. I simply used a hot glue gun to stick the embellishments to the wood.

Pro tip: our wooden planks were cut from a 1×4 in the garage but you can also find smaller wooden craft boards at Michaels that would work too! Try to think outside of the wood plank box.
