We love charcuterie boards because they are so easy to create and fit into our low carb lifestyle. They combine all of our favorites; savory meat, delicious cheese, crunchy nuts and sweet berries. And no board would be complete in our house without our yummy smoked salmon!
This charcuterie wreath makes a great appetizer during the holiday season! It’s so easy to create fun designs like this Christmas tree charcuterie too.

Ingredients
- salted almonds
- mennonite sausage, sliced
- almond flour crackers
- small pickles
- smoked gouda cheese, cubed
- swiss cheese, sliced
- chorizzo, sliced
- homemade smoked salmon
- grapes
- gala apples
- cashews
- soft brie cheese
- cranberry salsa
Instructions
1. Select a large rectangular platter, tray or wood bread board. I like to use large wood cutting boards like the one in this Valentines Day Charcuterie.
2. Score lines into the round of brie cheese and heat it in the oven at 350 for 20 minutes. Place it in the center of the board.
3. Alternate charcuterie board ingredients around the brie. Alternate meat, cheese, crackers and fruit.
4. Finally, top the round of brie with homemade cranberry salsa. Jam could be used instead but we love, love, love this salsa with brie – it’s a must try!
Tip: Be sure to keep wet ingredients like pickles apart from things like crackers.
Optional: add rosemary sprigs or parsley around the outside edge to create a wreath look.
The pops of red and green on this charcuterie board are totally intentional. I think that they give this festive board the perfect holiday vibe!
