I’ve put together this Elf Movie Gift Idea before December (shocker, I know) so that you can can make one of these too! It’s the perfect gift for that Elf Movie lover on your Christmas list or simply to use as a prize at your holiday event or party.
Everyone knows that I am a little bit Christmas obsessed and when it comes to my annual Elf Holiday Party I go all out! I typically plan party games, prizes and activities at the very last minute but this year I am trying to change that because I want to share the Elf party shenanigans with you guys early.
Elf is one of those iconic Christmas movies that never gets old (at least for us). I can practically quote the entire movie word for word because I have watched it THAT many times! Granted, my excessive watching of this movie was partially to create this Elf movie trivia game but still, I love, love, love it!! After years of throwing my annual Elf Party I’m always trying to come up with new Elf games and ideas.

Kim at A Girl and A Glue Gun has the best cut files. When I saw that she had created a set of Buddy the Elf cut files I simply had to get them and use them to create a DIY Elf Mug for this gift.
Creating a custom mug is super easy! Simply download the Elf cut file, resize and edit it using your software, cut the image out of vinyl and stick it to your mug.
I made a whole bunch of Elf mugs to use as gifts throughout the holiday season. Filling them with these homemade Peppermint Dipped Cookies then wrapping them in cellophane is such a quick and easy gift idea! I love having last minute gift ideas ready to go.
After creating the custom Elf mug I then filled up a red bin, found at the dollar store, with all of my Elf themed goodies.
