The spooky charcuterie board idea I am sharing with you today uses a combination of foods that are both sweet and salty. I really like that balance, but there are so many other ways to create your own board.
Today’s version also doesn’t need to be refrigerated. It can stay at room temperature. That is a bonus when putting the board together ahead of time. It is also more on the sweet side, but you can make yours savory too.
Your favorite veggies, crackers, a variety of meats and cheeses, or black and green olives are all good choices to include with a savory board. You could make an entire board with only fresh fruits.
It could be a dessert charcuterie board or a breakfast board. Another fun idea would be to pick a specific color scheme for your board or give it a colorful sugar skull look with all your favorite Halloween candy. Let your imagination run wild!

- When building a beautiful charcuterie board, place the larger items on your board first, then move on to the smaller items to fill in the gaps. Ramekins or other small bowls can also be placed on the board to hold small items.
- Depending on the size of your group, you can use a large board or a smaller board.
- The dollar store is a great place find inexpensive serving trays and Halloween decorations, like plastic spiders, mini pumpkins, and other spooky elements for your parties.
