Halloween brings out the kid in me, though to be honest, I don’t think it takes much for that! Though my kids are growing up awfully quickly, I still love the decorations, making costumes, and, of course, all the fun-sized treats.
If you have followed me for any length of time, you know that I also love holiday themed food. To help your whole family get into the Halloween spirit with me, I am sharing this easy Halloween pizza recipe.

Serve it up for dinner before a fun evening of trick-or-treating. It is also perfect for our annual Hocus Pocus movie night.
It doesn’t get much more Halloween-y than a plate full of intestines. The whole family is sure to love it!

Supplies
Let’s start with a few of my favorite pizza making supplies!
Ingredients
- Pillsbury pizza dough – homemade dough or store bought dough, both work.
- Mozzarella cheese – shredded.
- Pizza sauce – I like to use ready made Primo sauce in a bottle but any kind will do.
- Pepperoni – sliced thinly.
Instructions
- Layer the baking dish with pepperoni, mozzarella and half of the tomato sauce.
2. Open the pizza dough, lay it out flat and cut it into strips.
3. Place each piece of dough into a random squiggly line on top of the filling, until you have used all the strips.
4. Top with the remaining pizza sauce.
5. Use the pastry brush to coat all of the pizza dough in sauce.
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 mins, or until golden brown.
More Halloween Pizza Ideas
- Use mozzarella balls and black olives to create eyeballs in and around the “intestines”.
- Instead of one large intestine pizza, use cookie cutters to shape the dough into mini pizzas. This gets the whole family involved in making their own pizzas and works for any holiday season. For Halloween-themed pizzas, try ghost shapes, mini mummy pizzas, or spider bodies with vegetable spider legs.
- Make a round pizza and use red pepper, green pepper, or even mozzarella cheese sticks to create a spider web design. Don’t forget the black olive spiders!
- For a ghost pizza, use a sharp knife to cut ghost shapes out of cheese slices.
