What is punch?

Punch is a festive beverage that usually combines fresh fruit, fruit juices and some kind of carbonated beverage. It’s great for all kinds of occasions but especially fun during the holiday season.

This non-alcoholic punch recipe makes a great mocktail for those wanting to refrain from alcohol consumption. You could easily add spirits to the pitcher to make an alcoholic version as well.

Strawberry Punch Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Pineapple juice – this is my favorite fruit juice, it pairs wonderfully with the strawberries and doesn’t overpower the flavor.
  • Sprite or 7UP – ginger ale would work too.
  • Frozen strawberries, pureed – these give the punch that signature color.
  • Fresh strawberries, halved – these are easily carved into hearts.

Note: the frozen strawberry puree can be replaced with strawberry daiquiri mix but we much prefer to make our own, quick puree when we can.

7-Up, pineapple juice, fresh strawberries, strawberry puree are the ingredients to make Valentines Day punch.
