Festive, fun food is one of my favorite things to create for any holiday! This Valentine dip is no exception, it’s super easy to make and perfectly pretty in pink!

Seriously delicious and totally easy to make – this no bake chocolate chip dip is a crowd pleaser! Especially with our group of teenage boys, you can’t go wrong with anything that involves chocolate really.
This sweet cream cheese dip is the ideal dessert for a baby shower, birthday party or Valentine’s Day. Dessert dips make the best party food because they are pretty much no fail recipes that are beyond simple to create.

Dessert Dip Supplies:
- Stand mixer with paddle attachment or
- Electric mixer
- Large bowl
- Small bowl
- Serving platter
- Rubber spatula
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Cutting board
- Knife
- Plastic wrap
Valentine dessert dip recipe:
Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup valentine sprinkles and/or M&Ms
Directions:
1. Combine cream cheese, 1 cup mini chocolate chips, powdered sugar and vanilla in a large mixing bowl.
2. Mix until well combined. Add 1/2 the sprinkles and stir them in.
As you mix, the color from the sprinkles will bleed into the cream cheese mixture creating a fun shade of pink.
3. Place cream cheese mixture into a small bowl, centered on a tray or cutting board.
4. Top the dip with remaining sprinkles.
5. Surround the dessert dip with a selection of fruit and cookies for dipping.
We like to use Oreos, chocolate chip cookies and apple slices. You could also add strawberries, pears, pretzels, vanilla wafer and any number of “dipable” snacks!
How to store:
This easy dessert dip recipe is just as good the next day, in fact, its the perfect make-ahead treat for the holiday season! Simply store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week in the refrigerator.
I love that you only need a few simple ingredients from the grocery store to make this. Nothing too fancy here, that’s for sure!
Variations to try:
- Add cocoa powder to create a chocolate Valentine dip.
- Cover the cream cheese mixture with chopped pecans, toffee bits, graham cracker crumbs or even crushed oreos instead of sprinkles.
- Add peanut butter to the mix for a sweet twist.
- Swap out white chocolate chips or butterscotch chips for the mini ones!
