Chocolate covered pretzels are delicious little treats with the perfect combination of sweet and salty flavours. These white chocolate pretzels are made easy by simply using mini pretzels and dipping them in chocolate for a sweet and salty treat.

This easy recipe can be personalized with a wide variety of ingredients! Try using: dark chocolate chips, semi-sweet chocolate, milk chocolate wafers, colored sprinkles, dark chocolate chips, peanut butter, holiday sprinkles, crushed candy canes or flaky sea salt.
How to make white chocolate pretzels?

Ingredients:
- Mini Pretzels
- White Chocolate Candy Melts (or white chocolate chips)
Tip: pretzel rods, large pretzels, pretzel twists, pretzel sticks or square pretzels can be used instead of mini ones.
Instructions
1. In a medium microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate wafers in the microwave at 15 second intervals, stirring in between until the chocolate is completely smooth. Dip the pretzel into the chocolate, coating the whole pretzel.
Tip: Use a fork to dip pretzels into the melted chocolate. This allows the excess chocolate to drip from the pretzel.
2. Place the treats on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet or wire rack. A wire rack will also allow the excess chocolate drip.
3. Place the pretzels in the fridge and allow the chocolate to harden completely before serving.
How long does it take chocolate covered pretzels to harden?
It only takes a minute or two for the chocolate to completely harden so if you want to add candy or sprinkles to the pretzel treats be sure to do it quickly! Adding your favorite topping to a pretzel stick is the easiest way to make a yummy party snack.
Tips For Making These Salty Treats
- Use candy melts for best results, the wafer chocolate melts the best. Add one teaspoon of coconut oil to other chocolate to help it melt and pour better.
- Lay the chocolate covered treat on a prepared baking sheet for easy moving and transporting before the chocolate has hardened.
- Place the chocolate in the fridge or freezer to completely cool before serving.
How long do chocolate dipped pretzels last?
Store these chocolate treats in a large freezer bag or airtight container for up to one month at room temperature. They can also be stored in the fridge to prevent the chocolate from melting or in the freezer for months.
