Wooden Peg Snowman Ornament
A super easy wooden snowman ornament to create this holiday season. Make this snowman craft with these simple instructions.

The boys and I made the most adorable Wooden Snowmen Ornaments with our craft supplies last week. With just a wooden clothes pin, white acrylic paint and a few other odds and ends you too can make the perfect snowman ornament for your Christmas tree!
Too busy to make this right away? Pin it for later! Pin this post to your favorite board onย Pinterestย and it will be there when youโre ready!

I love crafts that require very few special materials or supplies because then you can make them at any time. My kids know that they can go into the craft room and find all sorts of things that will help them get creative!

Keeping things organized into bins and stocked up is always helpful because then they can easily find the supplies that they may need.
We tend to run out of hot glue sticks most often and I am always having to make a trip to the dollarstore to pick up more!

Materials:
- Wood Doll Pinย
- White Acrylic Paint
- Black Acrylic Paint
- Orange Acrylic Paint
- Fine Tip Paintbrush
- 22 Guage Silver Wire
- Fabric Scraps

Directions:
1. Paint the wooden clothes pegs white.
Cameron and Isaiah did an awesome job painting everything (and I mean everything) white.
Tip: fasten the wooden pins on a cup or tin can for easier painting.

2. Using a fine tip paintbrush, add snowman features and buttons with black and orange acrylic paint.

3. Finally, use a 10″ length of wire, curled around a pencil, to hang the snowman with.
We twisted the wire around the snowman and hid the wire with a scrap fabric scarf tied around his neck.

It doesn’t get much easier or more adorable than that! Seriously, how cute is this Wooden Snowman Ornament!? We also made these simple snowman ornaments, alphabet block snowman and a snowman magnet craft.

I would love to use it to make decorations for my nieces birthday.
felt appliques
Baby announcement shadow boxes for the new niece and nephew!
Hair bows for my girls!
Hmmm. I don’t know what id make first because there are so many inspired ideas for projects! Id definitely get inspiration from twin dragonfly designs for sure!
I would make some Frozen window clings.
I would make some felt appliques for a Quiet Book (for my little granddaughter).
I would create christmas cards
Matching family reunion shirts
I would finally finish my gallery wall….its waiting for vinyl letters.
This snowman inspired me to make a snowman with some 4″ wooden pegs I have left over from another project!
Think I would probably do a scrapbook.
Love the Snowmen, they are really cute
I would make a scrapbook or some cards
I’d create gift tags.
