Bourbon & Brown Sugar Salmon Steaks

Bourbon & Brown Sugar Salmon Steaks

These bourbon and brown sugar salmon steaks are a summer time staple around here.  We love the rich combination of flavours and perfectly cooked fish on the grill.

Too busy to make this right away? Pin it for later! Pin this recipe to your favorite board on Pinterest and it will be waiting there when you’re ready.

We have been making all kinds of delicious grilled recipes this summer like this easy grilled halibut recipe, these pan roasted salmon steaks and this lemon chipotle grilled salmon recipe.

Fish has become a staple in our diet as the boys and I have picked up an avid interest in fishing! Most of our fish recipes are made using fresh fish that we have caught!

We love this paired with grilled vegetables like fresh green beans or asparagus topped with cheese sauce.  I am a salmon loving convert after tasting this yummy recipe for the first time.  Now we have it once a week at least.

We’ve experimented with a few variations, and used Swerve brown sugar sweetener for a low carb version of this dish.

Costco has great deals on fresh Salmon.  We recently returned from an epic fishing trip to Prince Rupert and were lucky enough to bring home tons of fresh salmon and halibut.

Even the kids loved this salmon recipe and had leftovers for lunch the next day. It’s easy for kids to eat because the bones can be simply pulled out and discarded.
