Ingredients

Hereโ€™s everything youโ€™ll need for these dreamy cream cheese mints.

  • Cream cheese, room temperature โ€“ the smooth, creamy base that gives the mints their rich, velvety texture.
  • Powdered sugar (also known as confectioners sugar) โ€“ adds structure and sweetness to the mints.
  • Christmas sprinkles โ€“ a festive addition that adds a pop of holiday color and a delightful crunch.
  • Milk โ€“ a small touch of liquid to bring the ingredients together into a pliable dough.
  • Peppermint extract โ€“ the key to a refreshing burst of minty flavor that embodies the holiday spirit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make these without a stand mixer?
Absolutely! While a stand mixer with a paddle attachment makes the process faster, you can use a large bowl and an electric mixer. Just make sure to add the powdered sugar slowly so that it doesn’t explode everywhere.

How long do these mints take to make?
The prep time is about 20 minutes, plus 30 minutes in the fridge and an hour to dry. The total time is less than 2 hours, and most of it is hands-off!

Can I make these ahead of time?
Yes! These mints can be stored in the fridge for up to a week or frozen for months. Perfect for prepping ahead for weddings, holidays, or baby showers.

I have made pastel mints for wedding and everyone loves them. But I used a flower press. Takes longer to prepare but they taste great
Your recipe is so easy and takes less time. Can’t wait to eat them and share. Thank you!

  2. Iโ€™m wondering if these always have to stay in the frig until ready to eat because of the cream cheese?

Awesome. My m-i-l made these for a wedding. Set them out to dry. Went to the store. When she got home all the mints were gone. Airedale had counter surfed. Airedale escaped to far end of 6 acres. MIL made more mints, dog had freshest breath for 3 weeks. LOL
