Instructions
1. Add cranberries to a medium bowl. Top with Prosecco and orange juice, making sure theyโre fully submerged. Let them soak overnight in the refrigerator (or at least 8 hours) to get coated in all that delicious flavor.

2. Use a slotted spoon or colander to drain the cranberries, saving the juice for later (hello, cranberry mimosas or a simple syrup mixture!).

- Skip the soak if youโre in a hurry. Rinsing the cranberries in water will do in a pinch, but soaking them adds sweetness and helps the powdered sugar stick better.
- The leftover Prosecco-oj soak is liquid gold. Use it as a base for cranberry sauce, a sugar syrup, or mix it with dark chocolate and orange zest for a festive dessert drizzle.
- Use a good quality powdered sugar, some brands have too much cornstarch and can leave a chemical aftertaste.

I tried these at a party and demanded the recipe. I love them. As a child I didn’t understand the concept of Too Sweet, but I do now and these aren’t.
I left it too late to take these to a appies and dessert do in two hours, but I will gather the ingredients and make them soon.

LOVE these, I was a bit skeptical but they turned out even prettier than your picture ๐ I think they key to a great turnout like you said is ensuring your cranberries are fresh and pick out the soggy ones. I let mine soak overnight, and drained in a colander then coated immediately in the powdered sugar (use good powdered sugar). Only downfall for me, I made 4 batches LOL, Iโm making goodie boxes for my team to gift for Xmas (with a few of your recipes, and some other staples I always make).
