This breakfast bake with buttery crescent rolls, bacon, egg and cheese makes an awesome one dish style meal. You can pair this with hash brown potatoes, toast, sausage patties, fresh fruit or a slice of tomato.

Crescent Roll Casserole:
Ingredients:
- 12 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup Tex Mex cheese
- 12 pieces of bacon, cooked
- 1 235g can Pillsbury crescents rolls
- Salt & pepper
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees f.
2. Cook the bacon in a large skillet on medium until cooked through. Allow to cool completely and chop into pieces.
3. In a large bowl, combine egg, milk and shredded cheese. Add seasoning of choice.
We like to season this recipe with salt and pepper and often add dill, red pepper flakes, garlic powder or tabasco sauce. Experimenting with different spices is a great way to personalize this breakfast recipe!
4. Spray a 9×13″ baking dish with non stick cooking spray. Open the can of crescent rolls and place the dough in one layer on the bottom of the baking dish.
5. Layer the cooked bacon over the crescent dough sheets.
6. Pour the egg mixture over the ingredients in the casserole dish.
7. Bake for 45 minutes or until the center is firm and cooked through.
Top with fresh dill or green onions and serve warm.
When baked the crescent roll dough rises and creates a layer of dough in the center of the dish. Fluffy eggs are on the bottom, then the savory crescent roll and finally the flavourful bacon and eggs top off this breakfast casserole.
