TIPS FOR MAKING THESE TURKEY COOKIES:

  • Lay the chocolate covered treat on a cookie tray for easy moving and transporting before serving.
  • These cookies are best served and stored on a flat surface as they tend to break when stored in a bag or bowl.
  • Regular nutter butter cookies can be dipped in melted milk chocolate.
  • Store these yummy treats in a large freezer bag or airtight container for up to a week at room temperature. They can also be stored in the freezer for up to three months.

More Cookie Tips:

  • Use skittles, smarties or any other yellow candy for the yellow beaks instead of m&ms.
  • Mini pretzels could also be used for feathers.
  • Use white candy melts, chocolate candy melts or a dot of frosting to stick features to the cookies.
