Cinnamon bun recipe
Ingredients:
- Container of Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls
- Non stick baking spray
- Easter sprinkles
- Duncan Hynes vanilla frosting (optional)
Tip: homemade cream cheese icing can also be added to the top of the casserole but using the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls is just as good in our opinion! We’ve tried different brands but Pillsbury rolls are always better than any other store brand.
Directions
1. Open the can of dough and set aside the icing. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Unroll each of the large cinnamon rolls half way. Create bunny ears with the unrolled dough. Place the cinnamon buns in a greased casserole dish or parchment paper lined baking sheet.
3. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the top turns golden brown.
4. Spread icing over the warm cinnamon buns.
5. Top with Easter sprinkles and serve warm.
6. Optionally you can add frosting to the cinnamon buns to create a bunny “tail”.
This is the perfect dish for breakfast in bed on Easter. Pair warm cinnamon rolls with ice cream, Easter Chocolate Bark or Easter Rice Krispies for a yummy dessert buffet.
