Ingredients:
- Creamy peanut butter – Smooth and nutty, it’s the star of the show.
- Butter, softened – Adds a rich creaminess that helps bind everything together.

- Chocolate candy melts – They melt down to create a silky chocolate coating.

2. Gradually stir in the sugar until combined well into a dough ball.
3. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to form balls (at least 15 minutes).
4. Shape into small balls (about 1-inch), place on a baking sheet, cover, and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to allow to firm up again.
5. Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl at 15 second intervals until smooth.
6. Dip peanut butter balls, one at a time, into melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.

- Turn these tasty treats into energy balls by adding nuts, seeds, chopped dried fruit, etc., to the filling.
- A small cookie scoop works perfectly for achieving a uniform size.

- I like these truffles best when they are still a bit cold, but they take on a smoother texture at room temperature.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for a couple of days, if they last that long! If stacking, make sure to add a layer of wax paper in between.
