Ingredients:

Tip: regular nutter butter cookies work just as well as the fudge covered ones! Try experimenting with different store-bought cookies.

Directions:

1. Open the box of cookies and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet.

2. In a microwave safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips at 15 second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted.

3. Use the chocolate to stick the reindeer features into place on the nutter butter cookie.

4. Place a dab of chocolate at the bottom of each cookie to attach a red M&M nose and candy eyeballs.

5. Use two drops of chocolate at the top of the cookie to attach the pretzel antlers.

Tip: be sure to use a generous amount of melted chocolate and really press the features into the cookie so that they stick.

6. Put the baking sheet in the fridge for 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden before serving.

TIPS FOR MAKING THESE REINDEER COOKIES:

  • Lay the chocolate covered treat on a cookie tray for easy moving and transporting before serving.
  • These cookies are best served and stored on a flat surface as they tend to break when stored in a bag or bowl.
  • Regular nutter butter cookies can be dipped in melted milk chocolate.
  • Store these yummy treats in a large freezer bag or airtight container for up to a week at room temperature. They can also be stored in the freezer for up to three months.

Nutter Butter Reindeer Cookies - chocolate covered Nutter Butter cookies, topped with pretzel twists and candy features for a sweet treat that you will want to make for Christmas!

Ingredients

  • 6 Fudge Covered Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips, for melting
  • Pretzel twists, broken in half
  • Red M&Ms
  • Candy eyes

Instructions

1. Open the box of Nutter Butters and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet.

2. In a microwave safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips at 15 second intervals, stirring between, until completely melted.

3. Use the chocolate to “glue” the reindeer features into place on the peanut butter cookie.

4. Place a dab of chocolate towards the bottom for the nose, two small dabs for eyes and two dabs of chocolate on either side at the top to affix the pretzels, forming antlers.

5. Put the baking sheet in the fridge for 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden before serving.
