Supplies:

St Patricks Day Shamrock Roll Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 – 17.5 oz container of Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls
  • Non stick baking spray
  • Green food coloring
  • 1 Tbsp festive gold and green sprinkles

Tip: homemade cream cheese icing can also be added to the top of the casserole but using the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls is just as good in our opinion! We’ve tried different brands but Pillsbury rolls are always better than any other store brand.

Directions:

1. Open the can of dough and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

3. To create the clover shape, unroll each cinnamon roll. Then use the length of dough to create a shamrock. Start with the unrolled end and form three little mountains to form leaves and leave a 1-2” section to create a stem.

4. Spray a 10″ round casserole dish with cooking spray. Place the cinnamon roll dough shamrocks into the dish.

Cinnamon roll variations:

  • Gel food coloring could also be used to make the green icing.
  • Be sure to use the Grands jumbo cinnamon rolls as the others kind don’t unroll.
  • Feel free to make your own icing with cream cheese and powdered sugar.
  • Create any kind of shape you want, simply follow the package directions for baking.
  • Another favorite is drizzling caramel sauce or maple syrup overtop for a truly delicious treat.
