Tips and Tricks:
- Instead of using the packaged icing, make your own cream cheese frosting. You could also make your own yummy glaze with powdered sugar and milk, cranberry juice, or orange juice.
- Make individual cranberry orange rolls in a muffin tin.
- For best results, use room temperature ingredients when baking.
- When making homemade cinnamon rolls, make sure to use a sharp knife to cut the rolls apart. Unflavored dental floss also works great for this.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container or covered tightly with plastic wrap.
FAQ:
- Can I use frozen cranberries? I prefer to use fresh cranberries, but frozen also works. You could even use dried ones, but you would lose the tartness.
- Can I use homemade cinnamon buns? Feel free to use your favorite homemade cinnamon bun recipe.
- Do I have to use orange extract? You can leave out the extract or substitute it with a flavor of your choice.
