But seriously, this Perler Bead Star Wars BB8 craft is a super fun project for the Star Wars fan on your list and quick and easy to create. We even made a day of it while binge watching Star Wars on Netflix!

How cute is this little dude sitting on my dash? I actually love having BB8 rest up front with me because it’s a great way to identify my vehicle as mine very quickly and showcase our love for everything Star Wars!
Did you know that Netflix has a whole line up of Star Wars flicks for you to enjoy now?? The Force Awakens, the Clone Wars series and even I Am Your Father… a documentary about the original actor who played Darth Vader. So cool!
My son Cam, knowing my affinity for Star Wars, created this stand up BB8 out of perler beads for me. I knew immediately that he needed to join me in my Pathfinder *wink*.

Crafting essentials for perler bead projects:

He used a square frame for both the BB8 and the base. Black, grey, white, orange and glow-in-the-dark perler beads were used. Simply follow the pattern above to create your own BB8. We like to iron both the front and back of each perler bead project for extra durability.
