What are Rice Krispie Treats anyway?
Rice krispie treats are primarily made of rice krispies cereal, melted butter and mini marshmallows. These Christmas squares are made even more fun with the addition of festive sprinkles and M&Ms.

How to make Christmas Rice Krispies squares
This easy holiday treat can be personalized with a wide variety of festive ingredients! Try adding: green food coloring to the chocolate, marshmallow fluff, white chocolate chips, a candy cane, red candy melts instead of white or other kinds of holiday sprinkles!
Ingredients
- Salted butter
- Miniature marshmallows
- Rice Krispies cereal
- Mini marshmallows, reserved
- White candy melts
- Festive holiday sprinkles
- Red and green M&Ms

Tips for making these Christmas treats
- Adding mini marshmallows at the end makes these squares extra gooey and decadent.
- When adding sprinkles to the mixture, be sure not to over mix otherwise the color will start to come off of the sprinkles and tint your squares.

Store these yummy treats in a large freezer bag or airtight container for up to two weeks at room temperature. They can also be stored in the fridge or freezer (if they last that long).
