Supplies:
Ingredients:
- 1 – 17.5 oz container of Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls
- Non stick baking spray
- Green food coloring
- 1 Tbsp festive gold and green sprinkles
Tip: homemade cream cheese icing can also be added to the top of the casserole but using the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls is just as good in our opinion! We’ve tried different brands but Pillsbury rolls are always better than any other store brand.
Directions:
1. Open the can of dough and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Mix the icing with a few drops of green food coloring to make a green frosting and set aside.
3. To create the clover shape, unroll each cinnamon roll. Then use the length of dough to create a shamrock. Start with the unrolled end and form three little mountains to form leaves and leave a 1-2” section to create a stem.
4. Spray a 10″ round casserole dish with cooking spray. Place the cinnamon roll dough shamrocks into the dish.
Note: a baking pan or cookie sheet can be used to cook these as well.
5. Bake for 25-28 minutes according to package instructions or until the top turns golden brown.
6. Spread icing over the warm cinnamon buns with the back of a spoon.
7. Top with festive sprinkles and serve warm.
