For the first time in a long while, we decided to set up and decorate the boys Christmas tree in the den. And I could not be more THRILLED about it! You guys, how awesome is this reindeer themed tree?!
Clearly Christmas has taken over with this Chewbacca themed tree, our holiday home tour and these adorable vintage car ornaments!
I love, love, love the combination of red, black and white! This Christmas tree decor just POP!! The reindeer inspiration came from our new friends, Dancer and Prancer, who now reside in the den downstairs. Scroll to the bottom of this post to say hello!
Spoiler alert: the decorations on this tree are from all over the place! But not to worry, I have a listing of all of the things that you need to create a very similar look!
My number one tip for Christmas tree decorating though?! Start at the dollar store. Dollar stores are highly under rated in my opinion and there is just so much good stuff there when you know what to buy and what to avoid!

- pine cone garland
- plastic red ball ornaments
I found a few reindeer ornaments at Rona, a large metal reindeer from a local maker and reindeer antlers from Walmart. Everything else is from my stash of holiday decor.
Knowing that I was creating a reindeer tree, I kept anything that was a reindeer off of my traditional tree to use for this one.
I also held onto ornaments that were red, black and white to use on this tree.
With a few new additions like this wooden reindeer, I couldn’t be more obsessed with how awesome it turned out. I want this tree upstairs in the living room next year!

This white flocked tree is a slim, narrow base and 7′ high. It just barely fits in our basement.
