Ingredients:
- 6 all beef hot dogs
- 6 hot dog buns
- Hot dog sauce, prepared
- Nacho sauce, prepared
These Harvest all beef hot dogs are our favorite dogs but any beef frank will do. Remove the natural casings or plastic wrap that may be on the dogs before cooking.
The chili sauce is absolutely delicious and cooked in a skillet over medium heat. You will need; lean ground beef, yellow onions, tomato sauce, chili powder, brown sugar, salt and black pepper.
The gooey cheese sauce is made in a medium saucepan and is a huge hit with anyone who tries it! You’ve got to try this recipe and check out the secret ingredient that makes for the best nacho cheese sauce.
Directions:
1. Place the dogs in boiling water to cook.
2. Boil for 4-6 minutes.
3. Using tongs, place the dog into a fresh bun.
4. Top with several tablespoons of the ground beef mixture.
5. Add nacho cheese sauce overtop.
This easy recipe makes 6 chili cheese dogs. Our kids like them served with hot dogs buns toasted with garlic butter (I just put them in the broiler for a minute). This is one of their all time favorite hot dog recipes!

- Hot dogs may be cooked in a slow cooker on high for 2 hours or low for 3-4 hours.
