- have all of the craft supplies ready first
- pour a small amount of paint onto a paper plate
- spread paint around with a brush
- have children line up one at a time
- help each child paint their hand with a brush or place it into the paint on the plate
- help each child place their panted hand on paper
- immediately have a helper wash the childs hand
- allow paint to dry before adding more to the project

Such an awesome round up! Can’t wait to do some of these with my three year old:-) Last year we made a big handprint Christmas tree on canvas and it is so much fun to pull it out this year and see how much she has grown…..tear!

These are fabulous. We recently moved across the country and sold most of our belongings including our holiday decor. So my 2 year old son and I are making most of our holiday decor this year. It is so fun for him to get involved and these are great ideas to add to our list!
