Bacon Wrapped Hot Dog Recipe

Bacon Wrapped Hot Dog:

Supplies:
- Baking sheet or dish
- Parchment paper
- Pair of tongs
Ingredients:
- 6 all beef hot dogs
- 6 pieces of thick cut bacon
- 6 hot dog buns
We love these all beef wieners from Harvest, the are packaged with an individual protective wrapper that needs to be removed before cooking. You may use your favorite brand of hot dog, just be sure to remove the natural casing from the dogs.
Directions:
1. Pre heat oven to 300 degrees F.
2. Cover a baking sheet in parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Note: this step is optional but helps to make clean up a breeze!
3. Wrap each dog with a piece of bacon.
4. Place the hot dogs on the sheet. Leave space between the dogs for even baking.
5. Cook for 30 minutes in the oven.
6. Turn the oven to broil on low for a couple of minutes to crisp up the bacon.
7. Use tongs to handle each dog, serve warm on a toasty bun with your favorite condiments.

Leftover hot dogs may be stored in an airtight container for up to one week in the fridge. You can microwave hot dogs to re heat them for later.
