Easy Pizza Dough Breadsticks Recipe
These pizza dough breadsticks are beyond easy and quick to create! They make the most delicious appetizer or snack that is sure to become a family favorite.

These breadsticks are simply made from store bought pizza dough found at the grocery store. They pair perfectly with game night appies or a holiday dinner.

The not so secret ingredient in this easy recipe is the pre made pizza crust dough from Pillsbury. I use it in our Pizza Bun Recipe and Spinach Dip and love how quickly I can whip up a delicious recipe with it!!

How to make pizza dough bread sticks
Ingredients:
Tip: homemade pizza dough totally works for this recipe as well. I just like how the Pillsbury crust cuts out some of the last minute prep work.

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Open the can of pizza dough and spread it out on a large flat surface in a rectangle shape.
3. Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough in half lengthwise and then into 1″ strips.

4. Twist each piece of dough twice to create a spiral design. Place the strips of dough onto the prepared cookie sheet.
Tip: press the ends of the dough firmly to the parchment paper lined baking sheet so that they stay in place and don’t unwind.
5. In a small bowl, beat the egg with a whisk or fork. Use a pastry brush to wash the top of each breadstick with egg.

6. Sprinkle the egg washed dough with everything bagel seasoning.

7. Bake the pizza dough sticks in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Tip: you may want to broil the sticks on low for a minute or two to crisp and brown the edges.

8. Once baked, pull apart the breadsticks and serve them with your next meal.

These pizza dough breadsticks are perfect for pairing with soup, stew or ceasar salad. We served them at our annual Elf Party on a giant charcuterie board.

These breadsticks can be stored in an airtight container or freezer bag for a week or in the freezer for up to three months.
