We love to make our own homemade patties and find that they make for the most delicious burgers. They keep well in the freezer for up to three months.
Frozen burger patties may be used as well and are especially great for creating quick meals. Baking times will need to be adjusted for frozen burgers.

- Baking sheet or dish
- Metal wire rack
- Aluminum foil
- Spatula
- Parchment paper

1. Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Place a wire rack on the baking sheet.
Note: this step is optional but allows excess juices to drip from the burgers. You can also line the baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean-up.
3. Place burgers on the baking tray in a single layer. Leave space between the patties for even baking.
4. Cook for 25 minutes in the oven or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
5. Use a spatula to lift each pattie, serve warm on a toasty bun with your favorite condiments.

Can you bake hamburger patties from frozen?
Yes, frozen hamburgers may be baked in the oven at 425 degrees F for 20-25 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the internal temperature has reached 160 degrees F.
Leftover hamburgers may be stored in an airtight container for up to one week in the fridge. You can microwave the hamburger patties to re heat them for later.

This is my favorite way to cook frozen hamburger patties during the cooler months. While smoked hamburgers are a family favorite, there are plenty of different ways to cook flavorful burgers!
How long do you cook fresh hamburgers?
- Hamburgers can be cooked in a slow cooker on high for 5 hours or low for 7-9 hours.
- Patties may be placed in an air fryer basket and cooked for 6-7 minutes at 350 degrees F.
- Hamburger patties can be cooked on the BBQ grill grate for 8-10 minutes.
- Smoked hamburgers take 2 hours to cook when smoked at 165 degrees F.
- Baked hamburgers in the oven take about 25 minutes at 350 degrees F.
