The best burger is one that is made from scratch, at home with lots of love. This chimichurri burger recipe is one of our go-to burgers that is a sure fire crowd pleaser!

It’s officially grilling season here so we’ve fired up the Traeger and have been enjoying the warmer weather.  Grilled hot dogs and hamburgers are at the top of the must make list to kick off our summer of BBQ!

Too busy to make this right away? Pin it for later! Add this recipe to your favorite board on Pinterest and it will be there for when you need it.

Burger perfection starts with a few simple ingredients from the grocery store: lean ground beef, pork, an egg and spices. After many seasons of BBQ, we’ve combined these ingredients in a way that makes the best homemade burgers you’ve ever had!

What is chimichurri sauce?

Chimichurri sauce is a fresh dressing that originated in Argentina and can be used as a marinade or condiment to add to many kinds of dishes.  It can easily be made with fresh parsley, olive oil and red wine vinegar.

We first were exposed to chimichurri at a local steak house as a dip for our tomahawk steak and we have been addicted ever since!
