How to make this clay Starbucks cup:

Materials that you’ll need:
- rolling pin
- parchment paper
- baking sheet
- white polymer clay
- red polymer clay
- brown polymer clay
- green polymer clay
- cutting and piercing tool
- bakers twine
- Roll red polymer clay into balls about 1/2″ in diameter. Tip: Wash your hands before switching clay colors so that the red color doesn’t transfer to the white clay.
2. Roll white clay into ropes and stack two layers together to form a “lid”. Roll brown clay out 1/8″ flat and cut into strips, place a small green circle of clay in the center of the brown strip.
3. Form the red balls into tapered rectangle shapes to resemble a Starbucks cup.
4. Place the white lid at the top of the red cup.
5. Add the brown and green label to the front of the cup.
6. Pierce a hole in the top of the cup for hanging.
7. Place the clay in the oven and bake as directed on the package. Different clay has different baking temperatures and times.
8. String with bakers twine for hanging.
Polymer clay crafting tips:
- Work with a high quality product like sculpey clay.
- Use plastic wrap in an air tight container to store clay.
- Score where you want two pieces of clay to stick together.
- Shape cutters work best on a flat, solid work surface.
- A craft oven is not needed.
- Bake at low temperatures to allow the clay to set slowly and prevent cracking.
